A three-part dance-television
TRAU SCHAU WEM
»Trau Schau Wem« is a play with and about trust. Should I trust in what I see and what my partner seems to signalize? And should You believe in all the »truth« You are offered on stage? Overlapping and zapping are the protagonists tools in their attempt to get to the core of a plot, bases on Choderlos de Laclos’ epistolary novel »Dangerous Affairs« and Heiner Müllers »Quartett«.

IN THE MEDIA
»Stiefermann’s dance version of the novel by de Laclos lasts only about half an hour. He presents four protagonists: Valmont, Merteuil, Tourvel and Cécile are a quartet driven by greedy innocence and passionate malice, carnal perfidy and sublime virtue. He skilfully skeletonizes the complex tangle of narrative strands and translates them into movement« (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung)
